  1. 《周礼·天官下》内司服，掌王后之六服、展衣。展衣，白衣。
  2. 《三礼六服图》曰：展衣，王后以礼见王及宾客之服也。卿大夫之撇馛从助君祭。
  3. 《释名》曰：袒，展字或作此。坦也，坦然正白，无文彩也。
